ADMISSIONS

At Huron College of Management, Technology and Health Care we made the admission process simple and faster. Our career advisor will set up an interview with you to assess your goals and discuss your training needs. He/She then will give you an overview of the programs offered to help you make a decision.  We will assist you in determining your most suitable financing options and make sure that all your registration information is current and complete.

In order to qualify for admission at Huron College, you will require

  • A minimum High School Diploma (12th Grade or equivalent) or Higher
  • A preferable TOEFL Score of 500 (paper based) or 170 (computer based) or English studies at the advanced level (Not applicable to ESL programs)
  • An entrance assessment and interview may be required for Mature Students to evaluate your strengths and to understand your training needs
  • Other pre-requisites may be required depending upon the program applied

For most of the programs you do not need to write an assessment test if you meet the programs minimum requirements and are proficient in English. Admission into some programs may require taking an entrance assessment and interview. Please contact the Course Counselor for program specific admission requirements.

The Process

The college has four intakes in a year for most of the programs i.e. Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct. The application cut off date for each intake is one month before the class start date. International Students need to apply at least 3 months in advance to allow enough time to prepare all the documents required to submit the study permit application to the Canadian Embassy.

You are required to submit an online application form to register for the program. A thank you page pops up to indicate that your application has been submitted successfully. We only accept paper applications where the applicant has no access to the internet. In such cases we still require the e-mail Id of the applicants at a later stage. Application forms can be downloaded from the website and the completed forms can be mailed to the college address duly completed along with the registration fee and all relevant documents. All the applicants are required to provide their active e-mail address at the time of registration since our college application processing and administration software identifies the applicants only by their e-maid Id. The registration fee is non-refundable and will be applied to the cost of tuition upon admission into the program.

Please check with the refund policy for complete details. Program schedules and fee details can be obtained by clicking the link below.

A login ID and Password will be mailed out to all applicants accepted into the program applied.
  3. Once you have the ID and Password you can log on to our ICAPS(Internet-based College Administration and Processing System) and monitor your progress from admission process on to the graduation stage in real time through the members login area.
