Huron College is looking for professional and experienced people to fill these dynamic positions:

  • Dental Hygiene Class Instructors
  • Dental Hygiene Program Coordinator (1)

Instructors must possess the following:

  • 1-2 years relevant teaching experience
  • Degree/Diploma in Dental Hygiene
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Moderate computer skills

Coordinator must possess the following:

  • 3 years+ experience as Dental Hygiene Program Coordinator
  • Experience in an administrative or leadership role
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Moderate computer skills

In addition, applicants must be Registered Dental Hygienists.

  • Dental Clinic Receptionist
  • Admissions Representative (Contract, maternity leave)

Clinic Receptionist must possess the following:

  • 1-2 years relevant dental clinic experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Diploma in Dental Assisting would be a definite asset

Admissions Representative must possess the following:

  • 1-2 years relevant office administration experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Marketing would be a definite asset

Candidates who are multilingual (fluent English, plus another language) will be preferred.

Huron College is inviting applications for faculty positions in the following areas.

1. Business Management (E-Commerce)

2. Industrial Pharmacy

4. PC Business applications- MS office and accounting applications trainer

5. Computer Programming and Networking Trainer

Qualifications

All the above positions require

v        A graduate degree from a recognized university or College

v        In-depth knowledge of their area of specialization

v        An excellent command of spoken English

v        Superior communication and pleasing and caring personality

The faculty will prepare teaching material based on the program curriculum and deliver instructor led training in the class room, mentor students, engage students in group discussions, conduct roll playing and monitor individual progress. The individual posse’s superior communication, organization and administrative skills and loves to teach multi cultural and multilingual students.

Notes

Applicants must have achieved technical certification in the areas they are teaching. Instructors must meet the requirements of the Ontario Career Colleges act. Proof of academic qualifications and experience will be required if selected for an interview.

Administrative positions

  1. Admissions-Representative

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of sales or related experience, specifically interviewing/assessing candidates into management, technology or healthcare diploma programs.
You are  professional in  appearance,  an effective communicator,  highly motivated,  a problem solver  by nature and have excellent customer service skills.

v      You are responsible for Interviewing and assessing potential candidates for our Diploma and Certification programs

v      Identify the potential markets and target specific programs towards the target groups

v      Ensure the smooth and consistent enrollment into the college programs

v      Develop relations with HRDC and OSAP departments and co-ordinate and direct students

v       Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual start quotas and objectives

v       Supporting all sales and marketing activities including information sessions, trade shows 

                              and advertising campaigns

v       Develops  and  maintains  relationships with the community,  government and  corporate  agencies

v      Adheres to ethical business practices and ensures that corporate standards are upheld

v       You are familiar with basic computer applications

v      You are especially motivated by a performance based salary plus bonus incentive program.

v      A post-secondary degree or diploma would be an asset
